Who we are

The program

Lu The Barber sends appointment text messages only: a booking confirmation when you book, and one reminder about two hours before your appointment asking you to reply YES to confirm you are coming or NO to cancel. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

 

How you opt in

You agree to receive these texts in one of two ways:

1. Website booking — you book an appointment on luthebarber.com and enter your mobile phone number in the booking form. Providing your number to complete the booking is your consent to receive appointment texts about that booking at that number.

2. Phone booking — you call Lu The Barber, speak with our receptionist, and verbally give your mobile phone number to book your appointment. Giving your number verbally to complete the booking is your consent to receive appointment texts about that booking at that number.

No other opt-in method is used: there is no keyword, QR code, or paper sign-up for this program.

 

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies by appointment — typically two messages per booking (one confirmation and one reminder). Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

 

Opting out and help

Reply STOP at any time to opt out; you will receive no further appointment texts, including reminders. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at lu@luthebarber.com or (561) 513-5707.

 

Replies

Replying YES to the reminder confirms your appointment. Replying NO cancels your own upcoming appointment and frees the time slot. Other replies are read and answered about your appointment.

 

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

 

Privacy

How we collect, use, and share your information — including that no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and that text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties — is described in our Privacy Policy at luthebarber.com/privacy-policy.

 

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above will change when we do.
